Background:Philemon has been playing games all of his existence, and fondly remembers the electro-mechanical pinballs machines and how they were supplanted by the arrival of a crude video table tennis game called PONG. He quickly became enamored with Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, etc. that made up the golden age of video games. Nowadays, he plays with his Xbox360, Nintendo Wii and PS2, but still occasionally dusts off his classic Vectrex gaming system.
Game Industry Background:His gaming expertise served him well when he worked as the first Theatrical Promotions Manager at a little company called "Wizards of the Coast," and his "Theatre Alchemy" department was responsible for the appearance of costumed characters from the "Magic: the Gathering" CCG at trade shows throughout the world. He also produced two early videos promoting the game.
Gaming:Currently, he plays a lot of Warcraft, and is particularly proud of his level 80 Elemental Tauren Shaman. It was a natural character for him to play, as he also dabbles in prestidigitation in real life, and both produces and emcees a monthly variety show at Heavens Nightclub in the historic Pioneer Square district in Seattle.
Modeling/Acting:Having been in front of the camera since age 3, Philemon is comfortable modeling in print work, serving as a spokesperson and interacting with fans, performing in promotional videos and ads, lending his dulcet tones and interesting characters to voiceover work. He thrives on being attired in elaborate costumes and hidden beneath layers of prosthetics.
