Bio: Gaming experience: I've been gaming with my cousins since I was 4, I would get the hand me down NES/SNES. I got my own system, my N64, when I was 10. Super Mario 64 is what pushed me over the edge and solidified the next several years of Xcore Nintendo fangirlism. Next was the PS2, where I began to play a whole new type of game, games rated T. After that I got my Xbox 360 which opened my eyes to the world of shooters, and the wonderful lifestyle that is achievement whoring. My all time favorite games include: Zelda: OoT, Gears of War, Pokemon: Silver and Halo 3. I love FPS, and TPS as well as RPG's.
Modeling Experience: As for modeling experience I have worked with TheGamerGirls.com, a modeling database site for gamers who are photographers and models. I did a photo shoot for THQ. It was a Frontlines Fuel of War themed shoot. I also co-host a live podcast called The Game Show. It airs on thestream.tvthestream.tv and is completely interactive. I love being in front of the camera and talking to people about games. I have attended multiple conventions, and cnd conducted interviews as well as video segments at them. I have gone to Comic Con 07/08, GDC 08, CES 09, E for All 07/08 and many more with plans to attend GDC 09 and SXSW in the next few months. I was also featured in the SciFi Channel's Sci vs. Fi special on Gears of War 2.
Game Journalism: When I'm not gaming, I'm writing about gaming or talking about gaming. I am freelance writer and the associate editor of gamegirl as well as being a contributing editor on several other sites. I have also written in several issues of GamePro Magazine. I spend a lot of time posting original articles (over 200 posts!), lists and news items for various sites. I should also point out that I come from a family of non-gamers. Aside from my brother they don't game, unless you consider the occasional Wii Tennis gaming. This means that not only do I know the gaming culture, the lingo and what it's all about but I also know how to convey gaming in all it's glory to those who aren't familiar with it.
HOBBIES: Outside of the gaming world, I'm a student studying to be journalist. I spend my free time making Lolcats and catching up on my Tivo with shows like Lost, 90210 2.0, BattleStar Galactica and anything on Adult Swim. I love Japan and Japanese culture and I speak a little Japanese. I love Star Wars and Star Trek equally, apples and oranges in my book. Virgo, Vegetarian, dog person.
