Pro Level FPSer who loves fighters, racing, and RPGs
Bio: Languages:A little bit of swedish, hopefully German soon!
Hobbies: I LOVE to travel, see new places and meet new people. I'm a very social person so I also really love to just hang out with friends. I love going out dancing! During downtime at the airports I like reading those easy "airport reading" novels such as Dan Brown, John Grisham and Dean Koontz. I also really enjoy writing, and have worked for several gaming media outlets in journalism.
Gaming Experience:I love to try out all kinds of games in all genres. I have to say, i'm really bad at GH, having a little RSI problems I can't really play that game as much as i'd like. I have been gaming ever since I was old enough to use a keyboard so I have grown up basically on computer games. I learned my ABCs from "Stickybear" on the Apple II. Console is something new to me, I only picked up an xbox in 2007 but i've had a lot of fun playing fighters, especially Dead or Alive. Sometimes though it's hard to get my friends to play offline with me because I'm always whooping their butts!
Gaming Platforms: I have a gaming PC which is in need of an upgrade. I don\'t mind building PCs myself, it\'s just the installing of all the programs that I lose patience with! I also have an xbox 360 and a DS. I love my DS, it\'s my saving grace on long trips. I love to play elitebeat Agents on it the most. My passion really lies in FPS games, especially Unreal Tournament and Quake. But I do have a very weak spot for Diablo 2, and I can hardly wait for the release of Diablo 3. I\'ve tried to stay away from MMOs, because I know how easily I can get sucked into them and then I really would have to say goodbye to my \"offline\" life! I also really love to play racing games, especially with my brother. I haven\'t really played any seriously though in the past couple of years, but I am having a lot of fun with Burnout Paradise.
Competitive Gaming: It is something that I am totally in love with. I love to compete and I have been doing so in gaming since 2003, when I played in the World Cyber Games qualifier in New Zealand for Unreal Tournament 2003. Following that, I played a lot of Unreal Tournament competitively and it was a natural trangression over to Quake 4. For Quake 4, myself and 3 other girlz 0f destruction teammates moved into a gaming house in Sweden in 2006 so that we could focus on practicing full-time for one year. We travelled to at least one event per month, flying all over the world to various tournaments. After that I went on to be drafted into the Berlin Allianz, a team in the Championship Gaming Series. There I competed in the xbox 360 game Dead or Alive 4. The first year I didn\'t perform as well as I would have liked, coming from FPS games the fighting genre was new to me. However, I did come back with a vengance in 2008 which I was happy with. Unfortunately the CGS has now come to an end and I am eagerly awaiting for tournaments in Quake Live to spring up.
