Background:Such as where raised, how got into gaming or when, or something interesting about how you got where you are:
I grew up as an ugly ducking on a horse ranch in San Diego. Only rural boys to play with, a pool, video games, forts, and legos. Moved to Seattle, and from there got a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Media Law at Washington State University. I didn't get my looks until the end of my sophomore year of college, so until then, I was brains and games over beauty! After college I chose to pursue pleasure over practicality and became a video game tester. I have worked for Nintendo, Oberon Media, and THQ/ Sandblast. I am also on iTunes with a GeekyGoddess podcast, talking about all things gaming. I can do any console, I can tell you what's wrong, what's great, how and why, and look hot doing it!
Hobbies Aside From Gaming:I am a dirtbiker, a reader, an illustrator, Playboy Special Edition Model, up-and-coming paintball threat, I collect small weapons, am into the heavy-metal scene, hilarious video game reviewer(with a large audience!), and other general badassery!
Gaming Experience:I am skilled in most genres. Action, Adventure, First Person Shooters, Third Person Shooters, Fighting, Racing, Horror, Stealth, Music, Puzzle....I have tested or played them all- a lot.
My weaknesses are RPGs, PC gaming, and Sports, but if I know the gist, I can learn fast!
I have been a video game tester for 3 years, helped develop and test the Wii for production, and have tested on every other new console since the DS, including PC games on Vista when it was first released! I can play the games, sell them, critique them, and talk about them. I just can't make them...yet!
