Bio:
Hobbies: In addition to video games I enjoy a healthy serving of other activities. I love working out and dancing, having danced at a professional level in ballet, tap, jazz, and Irish step dance. I grew up surrounded by art and I continue to write, draw, paint, and dabble in graphic design. I also like to play Dungeons and Dragons and Magic with my friends. To round all of this out I also dabble in programming (I've always loved writing HTML and I'm learning CSS, C++, and Python) and play trumpet in both reggae and symphonic bands!
School/Work: Outside of modeling I am an aspiring actress working primarily for film, although I have a fair amount of stage experience. I also bar tend and serve which has helped me learn to work with lots of new people and make them happy. I have a Bachelors in Psychology and continue to enroll in college courses for music and programming.
Gaming Experience: My parents wouldn't let me have video games when I was young, so I had to play at friends' houses. Finally I got an eBay account and bought a Nintendo 64. I still love that system! My favorite games were Perfect Dark, Golden Eye, and Star Wars Shadow of the Empire. I am happy to say that like a good older sister I broke my parents in and both of my younger brothers are now free to game! (My youngest brother and I often play online after he gets off school.) Since then I have added a PlayStation, NES, Wii, Nintendo Micro, Nintendo DS, and a bad ass gaming PC to the mix, soon I hope to get a PS3 also! I think at the moment I would say I am primarily a PC gamer... It's all about Steam achievements; they're like positive reinforcement!
Favorite Games: My favorite games currently are Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Portal, Torchlight (I have been tearing this up since I learned about it at GDC 2010), Rise of Legends (such beautiful steampunk strategy), Red Steel 2, and Half Life 2. All time favorites include Soul Calibur 2 and 3 ( I LOVE SC and I dare you to take me on.... any system!), Perfect Dark, Golden Eye, Tales of Phantasia, Trauma Center, Brainage, Golden Eye, Super Smash Bros, Guild Wars, Ultimate Alliance, and most of the Zelda games. I think some of the most beautiful games I've played are Rise of Legends, BioShock, and Heavenly Sword. Some of my favorite concepts are Red Steel and Mirrors Edge, I can't wait to see more games that use some of their innovations!
